What's something we may not know about you?
Not everyone knows that I play the Drums and have for most of my life.
If you could share a joint with anyone in history, who would it be?
What's the best vintage item you've ever owned?
A General Electric stereo from the 1970s that once belonged to Sammy Davis Jr and a pair of mod sunglasses worn by Doris Day. I also own Johnny Carson's original Tonight Show mug!
What's your favorite car?
I drive it! I will only drive a convertible 560 or a 450 SL. I became obsessed with those after seeing American Gigolo. I almost bought the yellow one that Stephanie Powers drives in Hart to Hart.
What album or song most represents you as a person?
This is a very hard question to answer and it changes day-to-day but for today it’s the movie soundtrack from TOMMY. How can you go wrong with the music of the Who and all that high energy from artists such as Elton John, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton and Ann Margret? It’s truly a Theatrical experience.
What's your favorite song to dance to?
“Outer Space” by Billy Preston. I totally lose it when I hear that. I also LOVE dancing to Beck's "New Pollution." And of course, anything by Donna Summer or Michael Jackson.
Do you have any special creative talents you rarely share?
Painting, sketching, photography, interior design and of course drumming.
If you could be anyone in history for a day, who would you be?
Catherine Deneuve circa 1965. What an irresistible time to be young and beautiful and living in Europe. Can you imagine being around all that innovative fashion during that era? And to be able to speak different languages too!
